Tazewell County, Virginia is soliciting PROPOSALS for services from qualified environmental firms with experience in complete groundwater monitoring services. These services will be utilized to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines for the Tazewell County Landfill. 1. Sampling and Field Activities (including Assessment Monitoring) 2. Laboratory Analysis 3. Potentiometric Modeling and Groundwater Velocity Evaluations 4. Data Reduction and Statistical Evaluation 5. Regulatory Interaction/Reporting Please contact the Kenneth Dunford Director of engineering at kdunford@tazewellcounty.org for information on constituents to be sampled. Other Activities that may be required: Review and evaluate historical groundwater monitoring data Perform verification sampling events when required Prepare alternate source demonstrations Additional sampling Additional monitoring and reporting. The County reserves the right to reject all proposals; waive informalities; and contract with the applicant whose proposal is in the best interests of Tazewell County.
