Reference Number: AB-2022-05729 Submit written quotations to the County of Wetaskiwin No. 10 for Residential Collection of Solid Waste Material within the Hamlets of Gwynne & Winfield. Quotations received after the closing time and date will be returned unopened, if possible. Facsimile and telephone bids shall not be considered, however bid amendments may be accepted in writing or by facsimile up to one-half ( 1/2 ) hour before closing. If the bidder has submitted their quotation and wishes to change the unit price schedule, the Bidder may send a facsimile to (780) 352-3486, marked "ATTENTION: Neil Powell, P.L. (Eng), Director of Public Works, CONTRACT OPENING on a copy of Form C58 (Quotation Amendments Form) found in Section 3.1 of the Contract and Specifications document. It is the responsibility of the bidder to confirm the amendments have been received. The County of Wetaskiwin is not responsible for the confidentiality of the faxed changes. Taxes and all additional costs must be indicated with the exception of GST. There will be no payment for any items not indicated on the submission. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Quotations and to waive irregularities and informalities at its discretion. The County reserves the right to accept a Quotation other than the lowest Quotation without stating reasons. By the act of submitting its Quotation, the Bidder waives any right to contest in any legal proceeding or action. It is the right of the County to award the work to whomever it chooses, in its sole and unfettered discretion and for whatever reasons the County deems appropriate. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the County may consider any other factor besides price and capability to perform the work that it deems in its sole discretion to be relevant to its decision including: 1.Inspection of Equipment. 2.Plan for Disruption of Service. 3.Complete RFQ Package Submitted.
