As of August 12, 2025, an engineer has been selected, and design is 100% complete. This project is pending owner review. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined, however, construction is not expected to start prior to 2026. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The City of Palm Coast requests statements of qualifications from roadway design teams. Extents will be Old Kings Road from just south of Town Center Blvd north to Kingswood Drive /Brighton Circle. Project scope will be four-lane design of existing two-lane Old Kings Road; option analysis and redesign of Town Center Blvd from Royal Palms Pkwy to Old Kings Road. Any questions concerning the intent, meaning and interpretations of the solicitation documents including the draft agreement, must be requested in writing through the portal at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the due date QUESTION DEADLINE: December 1, 2022 AT 2:00 PM : All submittals will be evaluated by City staff in accordance with the criteria set forth in the solicitation documents. The City reserves the right to reject all submittals, to waive any formalities, and to solicit and readvertise for new bids/proposals, or to abandon the project in its entirety
