Various Locations: Bradford, Carriage, California, Goldentree, Middletree, Moore & Whitehall The Joliet Township Government, does hereby invite Various Locations noted above which consist of pavement patching, hot-mix asphalt surface course, hot-mix asphalt surface removal variable depth, 48" pipe culvert removal/replacement at Middletree Rd., proposed inlet and storm sewer at Moore St. south and other items to complete the project within the surrounding areas. Instructions to Bidders: Plans and proposal forms may be obtained from the Office of the Township Clerk, 175 West Jefferson Street, Joliet, IL 60432. Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Questions regarding the plans and proposed forms can be directed to the Clerk at 815-726-5239 or clerk@joliettownship.net. All proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond, bank cashier's check, bank draft, or certified check for not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid. In addition, all bidders must comply with the Responsible Bidders Act of the State of Illinois. The successful bidder will be required to post performance security and to provide a Certificate of Insurance as set forth in the Invitation to Bid and the general terms and conditions. Bidders are required to be pre-qualified through the Illinois Department of Transportation. The Joliet Township Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids, part of any and all bids, or to waive technical errors or omissions in bids. The Contract shall be subject to the provisions of the Prevailing Wage Act (80 ILCS 130/1 et seq.) to the extent required by law. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
