Site work and renovation of a civil project in Lavonia, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

**As of January 21, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.**  The Work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment and labor for construction of approximately 1,700 LF of 15" PVC gravity sewer, 5,700 LF of 8" PVC force main extension, 6,700 LF of 12" PVC force main, 7,500 LF of 16" PVC force main, Wrights Branch Pump Station, pump station modifications (6), miscellaneous improvements and all related appurtenances. Payment for the work will be made periodically on the basis of Contractor's Applications for Payment processed by the Engineer. Bids must include a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. All bonds must be countersigned by a Georgia Resident Agent. A Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the bid and a Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the bid must be furnished by the successful bidder. All Bidders must have a State of Georgia Utility Contractor License. Bidders must comply with Executive Order No. 11246 as amended, entitled "Equal Employment Opportunity" and with the Copeland Anti-Kickback Act (18 U.S.C. 874) as supplemented in Department of Labor Regulations (29 CFR, Part 3). Bidders must comply with all provisions of the "Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act" of 2007. Bids must include a completed Federal Work Authorization Contractor Affidavit as shown in Section CM1. This project (EDA Investment No. 04-01-07383) will be partially funded with Federal funds from the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration and from the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority, State Revolving Fund. Therefore, the project is subject to the Federal and State laws and regulations associated with those programs. The right is reserved by the Owner to delay the award of the Contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of the bids, during which time bids shall remain open and not subject to withdrawal. The right is also reserved to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all technicalities or informalities.
