Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Colorado Springs (City) is providing notice to the contractors of the upcoming solicitation for Construction Management/General Contractor (CMGC) services for Marksheffel Road Reconstruction from North Carefree Cir. to Dublin Blvd. in El Paso County. The purpose of this project is to finish the construction of the corridor between North Carefree Circle and Dublin Boulevard. The construction will be a full reconstruct of the existing roadway to widen from 2-lanes to 4-lanes with a median, 6' sidewalk on the west side and 10' trail on the east side. There will also be a new box culvert installed at the existing low water crossing to eliminate the potential for roadway flooding. 1-new water quality pond will be constructed as well as modifications to an existing pond and a new water quality vault.
