The City of Laconia Department of Public Works is seeking proposals from qualified companies for highway striping services. The City estimates the need for approximately 175,000 linear feet of double yellow centerline and 200,000 linear feet of single white edge line annually. Proposals shall be for a one (1) year agreement that may be extended annually for up to three (3) consecutive one (1) year periods, upon mutual agreement between the City and the Contractor. Ideally the City would like the work completed before Memorial Day Weekend, May 25, 2023, but the actual scheduling will be determined by availability of the contractor and/or the availability of funding. Work must not be delayed beyond July 2023. The successful contractor is to supply and install the pavement markings according to the State of New Hampshire Department of Transportation 2016 Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction Section 632 Retro reflective Pavement Markings andSection 708 - Paint (Special Provision attached, by the Laconia Public Works Department). The City of Laconia reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or any part thereof, to waive any formality in the process, and to accept the proposal considered to be in the best interest of the City. Failure to submit all information called for may be sufficient grounds for reason
