Renovation of an educational facility in Cumberland, Kentucky. Design plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of August 9, 2023, a design team has been selected. The Division of Engineering and Contract Administration on behalf of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System / Southeast KY CTC seeks the services of a consulting mechanical engineer to design, manage and commission the Mechanical Equipment Upgrades at the Southeast KY Community and Technical College on its various campuses. The goal of the project is the strategic replacement equipment (such as: boilers and chillers, cooling towers, interior and exterior lighting, pumps, VAV boxes, but not limited to this list). The determination of which equipment is to be replaced is a part of the design work and involves the evaluation and analysis of energy savings to be experienced from the replacements. Ultimately the goal is to modernize the college facilities equipment with a focus on energy savings going forward.
