Holland Street 8-inch Main Line Upgrade The project for which bids are being accepted includes the installation of approximately 840 feet of 8-inch DR-18 C900 PVC pipe, 1100 feet of 6-inch DR-18 C900 PVC pipe, and related appurtenances to accommodate replacement of existing 4-inch and 3-inch PVC waterline s. The project involves the installation of the new 8-inch waterline on Holland Street from F Road north to Dennis Avenue. The waterline upgrade will also include upgrading existing 3-inch mainlines on Dennis Avenue, Olga Street, and Steven Avenue. In addition to main line installation, 22 new service lines and 4 fire hydrant installations will be required. The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for all material acquisition, all required traffic control, pipe, and pipe accessory material installation, backfill, compaction compliance, disturbed surface interim maintenance/final restorations, and associated work. No BID shall be withdrawn after the opening of BIDS without the consent of the Clifton Water District for a period of thirty (30) calendar days after the scheduled time of the opening of BIDS. All BIDS must be submitted in writing on the forms provided and signed by the BIDDER or a duly authorized agent. The OWNER (Clifton Water District) reserves the right to reject any and all BIDS and to waive any informalities in BIDDING and to make the award in such a manner as they may deem right and proper for the best interests of the Public.
