Clarification Deadline: 10/14/2022 3:00 PM For the installation of Logo information signs, PA Tourism Signing Trust Project 100-27 for multiple locations within Pennsylvania The work on this project consists of obtaining all materials and completing all work related to the installation of new and replacement mainline logo signs known generally as Portal Type A signs (approx. 1323 S.F.) as well as mounting / remounting business logos on the signs, at all locations identified in the Contract Documents. All work is to be completed within 135 days of Notice to Proceed. Bidders must have Portal "R" prequalification as prime contractors or subcontractors. Therefore the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act is anticipated to be applicable. Bidders should refer to provisions of federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and preservation of public natural resources that affect the project, said provisions being pursuant to Act No. 247 of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, approved October 26, 1972. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than Ten Percent (10%) of the bid total payable to the Pennsylvania Tourism Signing Trust. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the bid opening. Pennsylvania Tourism Signing Trust reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, or irregularities; to accept any bid or combination of bids it may deem to be for the best interests of the Trust; and to reject any or all bids. *The bid list for this project may be incomplete.
