The Oakland County Purchasing Division on behalf of the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner (WRC) is soliciting bids for liquid ferric chloride (FeCL3) solution to be used for phosphorus removal at the Commerce Township Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) located at 649 Welch Road, Walled Lake, MI 48390 and ferrous chloride (FeCL2) solution to be used for phosphorus removal at the Clinton River Water Resource Reclamation Facility (CRWRRF) Auburn Plant and East Blvd. facilities located at 155 N. Opdyke and 274 Martin Luther King Blvd., Pontiac, MI 48342, respectively.This material will be delivered to the plants on an as-needed basis only as requested by the WRC.The facilities presently receive a 4,000-gallon delivery of ferric chloride approximately every 25-45 days, and 4,000 to 8,000-gallons (depending on the facility) of ferrous chloride approximately every 10 days. This information is provided to assist the Vendor in developing their bid only. WRC does not guarantee this volume will be ordered at this rate for the term of the Contract.
