Renovation of a mixed-use development in Belmont, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate The new Belmont Middle & High School project is currently under construction with Skanska Building USA as the Construction Manager. This is a Chapter 149A project. The scope of this work: to furnish and install Photo Voltaic (PV) Solar Panels atop the roofs of the new high school and middle school. The base building electric is underway in a separate contract. This work being bid is install the PV panel system and make operational, coordinated with the base building work. Work will be in accordance with PV drawings and specifications prepared by Solar Design Assoc (SDA) of Harvard MA. Sub Bid Category Electrical - PV Panels Bids will be received by subcontractors that were previously prequalified in response to the RFQ phase Only. Only firms that received an email from CHA stating they had been prequalified to Bid on the PV Panels will be accepted. Any other bids will be rejected. All questions or requests for clarification regarding this Invitation to Bid must be emailed to the Awarding Authority through Donald White and Justin Ferdenzi of CHA Companies as the Owner's Project Manager to DWhite@chacompanies.com and JFerdenzi@chacompanies.com . Oral and other such requests for clarification will be disregarded and of no legal effect The overall project construction value is approximately $250,000,000. The value of the work for the PV Solar Panels per this Bid Request is $2,200,000.
