Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Belmont, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Winn's Brook Culvert Inlet Structure Replacement. New 17'x12' concrete structure with 10'x10' galvanized steel debris grate. Remove and dispose of existing grate and 48" RCP sections. Winter construction required with substantial completion by 4/1/23. Replacement of 2,400 feet of water main and transfer of water services in Belmont MA Construction of new concrete wing wall structure and galvanized steel debris grate. Installation of new chain link fence, temporary paving and appurtenances. Repoint existing stone stream channel walls. Stream flows must be maintained at all times. Removal and disposal of existing debris grate, fencing and planter. Construction shall be fully completed within 150 calendar days from the stated date set in the Notice to Proceed. Milestone 1 for completion of the concrete structure is March 1, 2023. Milestone 2 for completion of the galvanized steel debris grate is April 1, 2023. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing (typed, not handwritten) addressed to Weston & Sampson Engineers, Inc., 55 Walkers Brook Drive, Reading, Massachusetts 01867 Attention: CSD, or sent via email to Carolyn Mahoney at mahoney.carolyn@wseinc.com and to be given consideration must be received at least ten working days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids
