Demolition of existing fire station at 153 Storey Ave. and construction of new single-story, 6600SF, net-zero energy building on expanded site with 2 apparatus bays, support areas, offices, living quarters. Integrated Concrete Form wall system, glulam wood beams, cross laminated timber construction supporting roof, rooftop mounted solar panels. The Work consists of the demolition and removal of the existing fire station at 153 Storey Avenue and replacement with a new, modern, single-story fire station of approximately 6,600sf on an expanded site. The new station will have two apparatus bays and support areas with administrative offices and living quarters for the 24 hour, 365 day operation of the station. It is anticipated that the fire station will be a net-zero energy building; one that will produce as much, or more, power as it consumes during its daily operation. The construction will include an Integrated Concrete Form wall system with glulam wood beams and cross laminated timber construction supporting the roof and rooftop mounted solar panels
