Jackson Hole Fire/EMS is seeking to work with a Consulting team of creative personnel with experience in community wildfire planning. This project is for the revision of a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) that meets the criteria of the Healthy Forests Restoration Act and Wyoming Forest Action Plan for Teton County, WY. The contractor will lead and facilitate a whole-community inclusive planning process that will result in a professionally formatted written CWPP along with a public-facing StoryMap. A simple update of the current CWPP will not be acceptable for this project. The current CWPP was last adopted in 2014 and no longer meets the standards of Federal and State planning tools. The Teton County CWPP will also need to align with the National Cohesive Strategy. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
