Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The work will include, but not be limited to: 1. Upgrade electrical service including distribution and branch circuiting. 2. Add ceiling fans in classroom spaces. 3. Remove decommissioned unit heaters, install new unit heaters with relocated controls. 4. Repair/Replace exterior doors; add automatic operator at main entry ADA door. A surety company bid bond on a form acceptable to Owner, a cashier's check or a certified check payable to the order of Seattle Public Schools shall accompany each bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received. Liquidated Damages Amount - Catherine Blane K-8 $1,000/ calendar day. The cost range is $4,179,000 to $4,619,000. SPS reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and irregularities in the bidding and to accept bids, which are considered to be in the best interest of SPS.
