Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Clay Center, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the construction of a 25,123-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

As of November 17, 2022 a general contractor has been selected. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to commence prior to January 2023. Work under this contract includes all material, labor, tools, expendable equipment, utility and transportation services, and all incidental items necessary to perform and complete, in a workman like manner, the Work required for the new building and site improvements, including all Civil, Architectural, Structural, Fire Protection, Mechanical and Electrical Work, for the South Central Power District Clay Center Service Center. The project includes but is not limited to a new building and site improvements. Site paving, drives, lighting, utilities, seeding/sod, landscaping, grading, water retention per SWPPP requirement, etc. The building site is currently not occupied by the owner and will be turned over the contractor for the construction period as such. The exterior of the building includes but is not limited to standing seam metal roofs, metal wall panels, brick veneer, building insulations, metal flashings, gutters and downspouts, overhead sectional doors, and windows and doors both hollow metal. The interior spaces and building systems are as indicated in the construction documents. The new construction shall include but is not limited to all new HVAC systems, controls, equipment and appurtenances as indicated, plumbing includes domestic cold and hot water, sanitary sewer work, piping, plumbing fixtures, toilet accessories, fire protection systems, electrical improvements, power, lighting, electronics, windows, doors, hardware, roofing, insulations, flashings, sealants, paints, porcelain tile, toilet partitions, floor sealants, gypsum board, metal studs, concrete masonry, APC, toilet accessories, signage, etc. The project consists of approximate 25,123 SF of new building and site improvements. *Subcontractor bidding may be ongoing for select trades.
