Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, Chapter 127 (N.J.S.A. 10:5-32 et seq.), and P.L. 1977, Chapter 33 (N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2) and all other applicable laws. All Corporations or Partnerships must disclose the names and addresses of stockholders and/or of partners having an interest of ten (10%) percent or more in the Corporation or Partnership. This information must be filed on or before the date set forth above when the bids are to be opened and read in public. The original sealed bid must be mailed or delivered to the Borough of Brielle, c/o Carol Baran, Contract Administrator, not later than fifteen (15) minutes before the time and date of the bid opening set forth above. Telephone facsimile documents will not be accepted. Proposals must be made on the Proposal Forms that are annexed to the Bid Specifications and must be accompanied by all documents referred to in the Bid Specifications. Bid security is required in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid for the first year of the bid, but not in excess of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00). A certificate from a surety company licensed to do business in the State of New Jersey is required to be submitted indicating consent of the company to be bound as surety and guarantor for performance required under the contract document. The Borough Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any immaterial defect or informality in any bid if deemed in the interest of the Municipality to do so. The Contract will be awarded within thirty (30) days after the date on which bids are received.
