Site work for a power facility in Sherbrooke, Prince Edward Island. Working plans call for site work for a power facility.
Expansion of the 138-kV transmission system from Sherbrook to Skinners Pond. The proposed transmission system will support the addition of approx. 100MW of proposed wind farms in western PEI by 2030, strengthen the grid west of Sherbrook with improved redundancies, and upgrade the allowable loads on the grid. TIMELINE: Project is in detailed design. Owner anticipates initiating the construction procurement process as early as late 2026. Construction is tentatively scheduled for 2027. Further update may be available mid-2026.
