The area west of Hiatus Road (Little Country Estates and Grove Estates neighborhoods) frequently experiences significant flooding that last for over a week. The Town's consultant has completed the design to construct the needed drainage improvements. The projects will improve drainage capacity and enhance water treatment to comply with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) standards. As of October 7, 2022, this project is included in the Town of Davie FY 2023-2032 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed.
