Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Davie, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The grass baseball/softball fields at Pod #5 at the Bamford Sports Complex are in need of major rehab due to safety issues. The fields are used to maximum capacity on a daily basis. A bid was advertised in FY22 to complete rehab on all four fields. Based on available funding, Marlin field rehab was approved and will be completed in FY22. Funding is requested in FY23 to complete the rehabilitation project on Yankee Field. This project will fund the regrading, crowning, and re-sodding of Oriole and Brave baseball/softball sports field, which will complete the project. As of October 7, 2022, this project is included in the Town of Davie FY 2023-2032 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. A firm construction timeline has not been released. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
