For the construction of the 2022 Cogan House Road Tree Clearing project The Project consists of a base bid to remove of existing trees along the entirety of Cogan House Road. Cogan House Road is a two-lane, winding country road that stretches approximately 6.9-miles in length. Multiple property owners have elected to retain logs on their respective properties. All leaves, branches, and limbs under four inches in diameter shall be ground and disposed of offsite unless otherwise directed by the Township or homeowner. All roadway closures of Cogan House Road are to be coordinated by Cogan House Township. No stump grinding is included in this project. Use of a grapple saw crane is required. No pre-bid conference will be held. However, perspective bidders are encouraged to contact Mr. Daniel Roupp, Cogan House Township Manager on his cell phone (570-971-0561) to arrange a tour of the project area. Additionally, the Township can be reached via the Township main phone number at 570-634-3185 or via email at coghstwp@gmail.com. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. PA prevailing wage rates apply to this contract.
