Conceptual plans call for the addition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The City of Muskogee is seeking Qualification Statements from qualified architects and/or engineers for the design and bidding services to complete the River Country Water Park Expansion & Renovation project. This firm will conduct the services under the direction of the City of Muskogee, Parks and Recreation Director. Project Location: 3600 Arline Ave. To provide the necessary architectural design and consultant services for the expansion and renovation of existing pool areas. To provide plans, scope of work, and assist in bidding process to address current pool structure needs. These areas include the Main pool, Lazy River, & Kiddy pool. This scope should include but is not limited to the resurfacing needs of the Lazy River and Main pool, options to replace the gutter tile surface in Main pool and Kiddy pool, any structural needs for the slide tower connected to the main pool, and any need of replacing current pumps/motors or electrical . In addition to the current pool structures, provide a conceptual design package to add another body of water with the goal of increasing the capacity of the full facility. This expansion option could make use of the land inside the current fenced area of the facility or make use of the land directly to the East of the fenced area. This land is already owned by the City of Muskogee. Structures that increase the capacity without significantly increasing the need for more lifeguard staff should have top consideration. Last day for questions October 24th The City reserves the right to: (1) Modify, waive, or otherwise vary the terms and conditions of this RFQ at any time, including but not limited to, deadlines for submission and RFQ requirements. (2) Waive irregularities in the RFQ. (3) Reject or refuse any or all RFQ. (4) Cancel and withdraw this RFQ at any time. (5) Accept the proposal which, in its sole and absolute discretion, best serves the interest of the City. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
