21-05/R-l Park City Council Chambers for the Memorial Drive Improvements Project. The scope of Work contemplated for the abovenamed Project includes pavement reconstruction, concrete curb and sidewalk replacement, replacement of sanitary and storm sewer infrastructure, as well as all other Work of any type or description necessary for contemplation of the Project, whether or not specifically described in these Contract Documents. All Work on Memorial Drive Improvements Project shall be completed within Two Hundred and Forty (240) Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed. The bidder's attention is specifically directed to the Special Provisions section of the project specifications regarding Construction Schedule Prohibitions. The bidder is advised that the specific times and dates of the prohibitions contained therein may affect his bid. The provided Bid Packet must be completed in the manner designated in the Contract Documents, must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder and the name of the Project on the outside and must be addressed to City Manager. Also, Bid Packets must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of "City of Asbury Park" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price amount, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that a Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of this Project is required. The award of the Contract for this Project will not be made until the necessary funds have been provided by City of Asbury Park in a lawful manner. Please be advised that this Project is being funded through City of Asbury Park and NJDOT The City of Asbury Park reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Packets to the extent permitted by law
