Site work and paving for a road / highway in East Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
**As of November 4, 2022, this project has been awarded to R.A. Cullinan and Son in the amount of $376,939.16. Bids will be held good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days from the due date. Every bid shall consist of two (2) completed copies of Bid Documents and shall be accompanied by bid guarantee consisting of bid bond, certified check or cashier's check made payable to City of East Peoria, in amount of five percent of total of bids upon which Contractor is bidding. Failure of bidder to submit bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in amount to cover proposals bid upon is cause for rejection of this bid. Commencement of the work on the project may not begin until the project has been approved by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. The project shall be substantially completed on or before May 26th, 2023. The project will be canceled by the City if a Notice to Proceed cannot be issued on or before April 28th, 2023 unless an extension of the substantial completion date is mutually agreeable to both Contractor and the City.
