As of December 7 2022, project was awarded to Division 7 Building Contractors, Inc., awarded amount is $186,731.47. Sturgis High School (SHS) Entry Area and Kitchen Roof Replacement - The Scope of Work includes the Entry Area Roof as well as the Kitchen Roof: 1. Tear off and disposal of existing membrane, insulation, cover board, and built up roof substrate as necessary. 2. Insulation should be a mechanically two layers of 2.5 inch Polyisocynurate Flat insulation with screws and plates. Implement appropriate tapered insulation to achieve slope around roof drains and perimeters. 3. Membrane should implement a Carlisle Syntec, Verico or Firestone Adhered EPDM 60 Mil Membrane Roofing System. Placement and installation of walkways pads to protest roof membrane as specified by manufacturer. 4. Penetrations & Flashings should include all necessary membrane flashings at perimeters andpenetrations for rooftop units and piper protrusions. 5. Drains should include membrane flashings. 6. The implementation of steel fascia edge metal system in any manufacturer standard color. 7. The warranty should be a 20 year warranty system that covers all materials and labor. 8. Installation of expansion joints for integration of new roof with existing structure. Bids shall be prepared in accordance with specifications outlined in Request for Bid. The successful bidder shall be required to enter into a contract with Sturgis Public Schools. Sturgis Public Schools is exempt from all taxes.
