Renovation of an educational facility in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 348-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility.

Work will be bid as the following Prime Contracts: Contract No. 1General Construction Contract No. 2 Mechanical & Plumbing Construction Contract No. 3 Electrical Construction Bidding The Work consists of alterations to the existing elevator shaft at the East Wing and installation of a new elevator, Selective demolition of concrete slabs, foundations, steel framing, ceiling, soffits, cmu and gwb partitions, floor finishes, lighting, mechanical equipment, roofing and plumbing. New gypsum board and steel stud partitions and soffits; cmu walls. Elevator Roofing Doors and hardware Painting New flooring, acoustical tile ceilings Mechanical modifications and new units. Plumbing and sprinkler modifications. Modifications to the existing electrical distribution systems as required for alteration work An additional non-refundable twenty dollars ($20.00) fee will be required for each set of Bidding Documents on CD if the documents are to be mailed to the bidder. A separate bank check is required for the additional fee. No additional fee will be required for UPS or Federal Express delivery of documents if Bidder provides a valid account number for delivery service. Documents will not be mailed until fees are received at Architects offices in cash or bank check Each Bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, money order or cashieraEUR(TM)s good faith check payable to the order of Colonial School District, or Bid Bond in an amount not less than 10 percent (10%) of the total bid, as security. Performance and Payment Bonds are required. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit in the form set forth in the Bidding Documents. The right to waive any informality in any Bid, to reject any or all Bids or to award any Contract in the best interest of the Owner is reserved. Bidders on this Work and all subcontractors shall comply with all provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
