Harrison School District 2 (HSD2) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified contractors/companies to provide all services for the complete abatement and disposal of Asbestos Containing Materials >1%, as outlined in a Report of test sample results dated December 23, 2020, and May 04, 2022. This full report can be found in Exhibit A. A summary is below. 3-5% Chrysotile containing Black Mastic Approximately 2,700 SF square feet Exhibit B shows the map of the tested and assumed Chrysotile Asbestos. PLEASE NOTE: Each contractor is responsible to determine for themselves the accuracy of the volume estimates of asbestos-containing material in the report. The selected proposing contractor organization will be responsible for the safety and security of the worksite. They must follow all Federal and/or State laws and regulations and provide documentation of proper disposal of the asbestos-containing materials to HSD2.
