SUNY Cortland intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law 355 (5) (a), which is up to $125,000, for the above noted commodity/product or service. A sealed bid will not be held. SUNY Cortland is requesting bids from qualified contractors to provide Drone Roof/Solar Thermal Inspections, as explained. Drone-Enabled Inspection: Visual and thermal (flat sections only) roof inspection. Visual and thermal solar panel inspection (Student Life Center, Park Center, Dragon Hall, Whitaker Hall) and ground mount system. Analysis and detection of areas of concern. Generation of updated high-resolution base map of the campus. All information uploaded, and available to us, in a software that permits us to review existing data and make additional notes about roofing system. Timeline to complete service is between now and November 11, 2022.
