Renovation of an educational facility in Bellingham, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
In accordance with RCW 39.04.320 this project requires a minimum 15% Apprenticeship Participation for projects with an estimated maximum allowable construction cost (MACC) of one million dollars or more. MWBE: Western Washington University is committed to providing the maximum practicable opportunity for participation by minority and women-owned businesses (MWBE) in public works. Voluntary goals for this project have been established as 10% MBE and 6% WBE. Participation may be either on a direct basis in response to this invitation to bid, or as a subcontractor or supplier. However, no minimum level of MWBE participation shall be required as a condition for receiving an award and bids will not be rejected or considered non-responsive if they do not include MWBE participation.
