Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Destin, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
As of January 4, 2023, project was awarded to Jobe's Dirt Works, awarded amount is $97,678.96. Ability to meet or accomplish the following specific project requirements: 1. Successful Bidder, at Successful Bidders cost, shall secure the necessary permits, including Demolition and Right-of-Way Construction Permits as required by the City of Destin. 2. Coordinate with City Staffto discontinue utility services. 3. Contractor will cut and cap all City Sewer, Storm Sewer and Water lines within the right-of-way and obtain a Cut/Cap Inspection from the Citys Department of Community Development by calling (850-654-1119). Water lines will be capped at the meter and sewer caps will be clearly marked for future use. 4. Install erosion and sedimentation control measures to include perimeter silt fence and shall be installed in accordance with LDC Article 11.09.03. 5. Provide for the protection of adjacent structures to include dust and vibration mitigation measures throughout the project by wetting the structures during and after demolition. The work consists of Demolition, Salvage and Removal of three structures and appurtenances for the City of Destin. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or portions thereof, to waive minor defects and informalities in the process, to accept the Bid(s) or take any other actions deemed by the City to be in the City's best interest.
