Construction Funding FY: FY 2024 The proposed project is to install 60 new lights along the Main Street and at intersections to provide better visibility. Lights would be installed on Main Street beginning at Central Ave (SR 260) to the Town of Springerville town limits (roughly one mile). Environmental: Minimal ground disturbance anticipated (Light Pole foundations). ROW: All work will be performed within the existing Town Right of Way. Utility and Rail Road: Possibility of relocating some utilities near sidewalks. Town will relocate water and sewer if necessary and will communicate with Navopache Electric for power movement. Design of concrete raised median and street lighting on Bullhead Parkway from 1.5 miles north of Silver Creek Road approximately 3.25 miles to Arroyo Vista Drive. These improvements will directly address the predominant fatal and incapacitating injury crashes that have been experienced in this corridor, namely road departure and nighttime. Ground disturbing activities will be required; no utility relocations are anticipated. Questions, in writing, shall be received by ECS at the below email address until October 13, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. (Arizona Time). No further questions shall be accepted after the time specified. The design consultant shall lead the project development process. Stage submittals shall consist of Stage II, Stage III, Stage IV and Final PS&E. Environmental considerations are CE only. No new right of way is anticipated to be required. No URR impacts are anticipated. The consultant shall provide a bid package which includes plans, specifications and estimates for construction. The consultant shall also provide necessary project management tasks including coordination, meetings, project schedule updates and comment responses. Document retention, project schedule, and risk register updates within the Workfront platform will be required. Final Questions Due: October 13, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. (Arizona Time)
