PUBLIC NOTICE: PROCURING GOODS AND SERVICES FINANCED WITH FEDERAL FUNDS - The Union City Board of Education hereby provides public notice that it will not be utilizing any federal funds in procurement of the goods/services as outlined in the bid specifications. The goods/services will be procured with state and/or local funds. All bids must be on the forms obtained from the Board. The bidder must submit three (3) copies of its response in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the words: "Sealed Bid --- LANDSCAPING". The envelope must be addressed to the Purchasing Agent of the Board at the address listed above, and may be delivered by hand, overnight courier or mail. The envelope containing the bid must be received by the Board by the date and time set forth above. No late responses shall be accepted. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond from a surety company licensed to do business in New Jersey, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Total Cost in the bid submitted, but not in excess of $20,000.00, made payable to the Union City Board of Education. All bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, ef seq. (P.L. 1975, c.127 as amended) and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1, et seg. The contract(s) will be awarded to the bidder(s), whose responses is/are most advantageous, price and other factors considered. The Board reserves the right to waive any minor irregularities in or to reject any or all bids.
