Demolition, site work, paving, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Altoona, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a fire / police facility; for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for the renovation of a fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Architectural/Engineering Services (RFP/RFQ) The proposed building addition will be approximately 3,000 square feet as reflected on Exhibit 1, "Proposed North End Improvements," attached hereto. Exhibit 1 also reflects very rough plans for parking, vehicle circulation and storm water improvements on the north end. Exhibit 2, "Proposed South End Improvements," includes planned improvements outside of the south end of the building to improve pedestrian circulation and access to parking as well as adding a new bus stop shelter. The new addition is being constructed to accommodate the uses listed below: 1. A portion of the building will be used as a drive-through point of delivery site for vaccinations and disease testing. When not being used for that purpose, the space will be used for vehicle parking and storage. 2. A portion of the addition will be used as a fitness center which will include locker rooms and shower facilities. 3. A portion of the building may be used for other unspecified purposes, as space allows. The project will also include improvements to the HVAC system in the existing fire garage space, demolition and construction within the fire garage space to accommodate angled police parking, and improvements to outside parking, storm water management and pedestrian circulation including addition of a bus stop shelter. The project may also include a remodel of existing restroom facilities. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
