Completion Date: Nov. 17, 2023 Pre-Qualification: Yes The project involves the televising and/or cleaning of approximately 57,706 lineal feet of sanitary sewer for portions of MMSD's Northeast Interceptor, Deforest and Highway 19 Extensions. Pipes are located in areas within the City of Madison, Town of Westport, Town of Burke, Town of Vienna, and Village of DeForest. Pipe size range from 12" to 42". Pipe materials include reinforced concrete pipe and prestressed concrete cylinder pipe. All pipe was installed in 1971 per available records. All bidders must be pre-qualified for this specific work. All contractors seeking to become pre-qualified for this type of work must provide written documentation that their personnel have adequate experience and training in the televising and cleaning of sanitary pipelines and that the equipment to be used is commercially acceptable and meets all requirements of the specifications. For the contractor to be qualified, they must have 1,600 feet minimum of televising cable and be capable of jetting a minimum of 800 feet at one time. The contractor must have PACP-certified data collection software capable of generating televising data in database format. All prospective bidders must submit qualifications for review and approval by the District. Prequalification applications will be distributed with the contract documents or can be obtained from the District. Bidders who have already submitted prequalification documentation to the District within the current calendar year need not resubmit but must notify the District in writing by the due date (using the form provided) of their desire to prequalify for this specific work. Prequalification applications must be completed and emailed to prequalifications@madsewer.org no later than 4:00 p.m. (local time) on Thursday, November 3, 2022. Bidders will be notified only of disqualification no later than 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 7, 2022. If a bidder has not filed the prequalification application, their proposal shall not be opened.
