Project Description: The Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to for the sanitary sewer improvements, permanent concrete pavement, asphalt concrete pavement, and repairing/replacing existing private improvements in kind as described in Section 2 of the Special Provisions. Before proceeding, all excavations require a Public Works excavation permit. All excavations are required to be properly backfilled, compacted to a minimum 90 percent modified proctor relative compaction, except for the top 6 inches of subgrade which shall have minimum 95 percent relative compaction (or self-compacting 1-sack cement- sand slurry backfill where approved by the Engineer), and resurfaced with similar material that existed prior to trenching unless otherwise noted on the Plans or described in Section 2 of the Special Provisions. Project Location: Along, and in the vicinity of, Providencia Avenue between Bonnywood Place to Varney Street. All bids must be submitted no later the day of the bid opening. Bids submitted after this time will not be accepted. There will be no bids called for from the audience. Sealed proposals shall be plainly marked:Sewer Improvement Providencia Sewer - Phase 2 bid under Bid Schedule No. 1508, to be opened at 2:00 P.M., November 15, 2022. Failure of the Contractor to download the Contract Documents from this website shall render their bid non-responsive.
