DESCRIPTION OF WORK The proposed improvement consists of the cleaning and closed-circuit television inspection of approximately 53,055 feet of various size sanitary main and 26,970 feet of various size storm sewers located in the Village of Bloomingdale, Illinois. PREVAILING WAGE The successful Contractor shall comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act requirements (820 ILCS 130/1-12) for this contract including submission of certified payroll requirements and the employment of Illinois workers during periods of excessive unemployment. BID SECURITY All Proposals must be accompanied by a Bank Cashier's Check, Bank Draft, Certified Check or Bidder's Bond, made payable to the Treasurer of the Village of Bloomingdale, for not less than five (5) percent of the total bid. REJECTION OF BIDS The President and Board of Trustees reserve the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any and all technicalities.
