Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field.

Walnut St. Skate Park & Fischer Park - Walnut St. Skate Park Enhancements include the construction of four (4) pickleball courts, ADA parking improvements and restroom facilities. Fischer Park at Port Royal Enhancements include the construction of a small ADA mobility track with corn hole, lighting, irrigation, field restoration, and ADA parking improvements. The Provider warrants that no part of the total Contract Amount shall be paid directly or indirectly to an employee or official of the State of Tennessee as wages, compensation, or gifts in exchange for acting as an officer, agent employee, subcontractor, or consultant to the Grantee in connection with any work contemplated or performed relative to this Grant Contract. The City of Spring Hill shall reserve the right to reject any and all bids if said body deems it necessary in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Spring Hill.The City of Spring Hill reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bidding in its sole discretion. The City of Spring Hill reserves the right to delay award of this contract for a period of up to one hundred (100) days after receipt of bids. Each bid must be submitted on forms provided in Bid Documents and either accompanied by a Bid Bond, properly executed on the form provided, or Cashiers Check drawn on a National or Tennessee Bank in the amount of 5% of the Total Bid Price. The contract has been fully executed and secured. Additionally, the successful bidder shall execute a Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract sum as security for the faithful performance of the contract and for the payment of labour and material furnished and incorporated into the work. The only acceptable form of instrument for this bond is bound herein. Additionally, the Contractor agrees to pay the City of Spring Hill ($250) per day for liquidated damages for each calendar day the punch-list work and submission of all close-out documents remains incomplete beyond thirty (30) days from date of Substantial Completion. City of Spring Hill reserves the right to require that Contractor provide an additional bond or bonds in such form and amount, and with such surety or sureties as approved by City of Spring Hill, should City of Spring Hill determine that the surety or sureties provided by Contractor to be insufficient to cover the performance of Contractors work.
