Rehabilitation project of approximately 7.14 miles of IH 43 from STH 83 to STH 164 in Waukesha County. Consultant to provide drainage design, utility clash detection, survey, and structure design. WisDOT will provide other design aspects of project. Full scope of the project includes: Pavement replacement, including the NB on ramp and SB off ramps at STH 83, with spot subgrade improvements. Full reconstruction of STH 164 and IH 43 Interchange. Resurface the Big Bend Park & Ride, replace guardrail, improve drainage at the NW quadrant of the IH 43 and STH 164 interchange, repair/replace culvert pipe, and replace signing and pavement marking. Rehabilitate a bridge, add new sign structures, and retaining walls The contract price will be based on an estimate of the selected consultant's actual costs plus fixed fee. Actual costs will be defined as those costs allowable under the cost principles in Part 31 of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Consultant costs including indirect cost rates and cost accounting system will be subject to audit. Consultant firms that are unable to account for costs consistent with requirements of the FAR are not eligible to contract. Consultants selected will be required to either submit or have on file with WisDOT a Consultant Financial Report prior to contract execution. Information on the report may be found electronically Advertised Fixed Fee %: 7.25 The fixed fee for this contract will apply an indirect cost factor of 150% to the consultant's estimated direct labor, regardless of the consultant's actual indirect rate.
