Site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Weeping Water, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

The project is located on Scenic Drive between Weeping Water Road and Stephanie Lane in Cass County, Nebraska. The project is referred to as STWD-CBMP(6): Weeping Water Southeast, C-13(912) and shall include all labour, materials, transportation and equipment required for the construction of a three span 180 NU900 concrete girder bridge 0 degree skew with a 28 ft. clear roadway and other incidental work. All Bid Proposals must be submitted on the forms furnished with the Bid Documents. The sealed bids may be mailed or delivered to the Cass County Clerk, 346 Main Street, Room 202, Plattsmouth, Nebraska 68048, and should be plainly marked as, Construction Bid Proposal STWD-CBMP(6): Weeping Water Southeast, C-13(912) . Along with its Bid Proposal, each bidder shall submit an unconditional Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the County Treasurer of Cass County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the Bid Proposal. Also, each bidder is to provide a Start of Construction date and an End of Construction date with their Bid Proposal. The desired completion is September 1, 2023. The successful bidder (i.e. Contractor) will be allowed two hundred (200) calendar days for completion after beginning work at the site, provided they do not exceed their specified completion date. Additional days due to weather may be granted at the discretion of the Engineer. Within ten (10) days following the award of the Contract, the successful bidder shall furnish a surety bond or bonds in an amount equal to or greater than the full amount of the contract. The surety and form of the bonds are subject to the acceptance by the Cass County Board of Commissioners. The Cass County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities in bids received.
