Site work for a water / sewer project in Lancaster, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Lancaster County Board of Supervisors is inviting experienced marine contractors to submit bids for the removal of the existing dock and installation of a new boat dock known as Thomas Landing located off VSH 354 (River Road) on Greenvale Creek, County of Lancaster, Virginia. Information and documents for this project are available in the Lancaster County Planning and Land Use/Building Office. The bid submission must include detailed engineering drawings. Engineering drawings are required to be sealed by a licensed professional engineer. The drawings contained in the permit only provide the size (footprint) of the dock at completion and are absent details for materials and construction elements. Bidders are encouraged to submit multiple bid levels which provide designs/materials providing for greater strength and longevity to extend the lifespan of the structure. The completed dock must comply with the American Disabilities Act (ADA). The desired completion date for the project is June 1, 2023. The basis for awarding the contract will fully consider the best value for the public which includes cost, quality of materials, longevity (life-span) of materials, performance time to fully complete the project and compliance with ADA.
