Site work for a residential development in North Platte, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development.
The North Platte Housing Authority is now accepting proposals to install fencing along the entire east and south perimeter at our Autumn Park complex located at 900 Autumn Park Drive, North Platte, NE. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, utility locates, city permits, and city inspections required to complete this job. Scope of Work and Specifications o Locate all utilities necessary for this project. Underground electric, gas, and water are present. o Obtain all city permits required for this project. o Installation of approximately 1,120 feet of fence along the east and south property lines (665' along east perimeter, 455' along south perimeter). o Fence material- commercial grade solid steel o Fence style- straight top picket with spear top, pickets must be a minimum of 3/4" x 3/4" with approximately 4" spacing o Fence height- 5 feet o Fence color- black o Fence/Corner/Gate posts- posts to be set in the apron o Fence location- the location of the fence is marked out on the map provided. Wooden stakes with orange tops currently mark the approximate locations of the NE, SE, and SW corners. The SW end of the installed fence is to butt up to the existing chain link fence on the west side of our property. o Installation of approximately 1, 120 feet of fence apron concrete poured 5" deep and 12" wide. o Installation of 4 residential gates. o Gate material- commercial grade solid steel o Gate style- straight top picket with spear top, pickets must be a minimum of 3/4" x3/4" with approximately 4" spacing o Gate height- 5 feet o Gate width- 3 feet o Gate color- black o Gate locations- 3 residential gates and 1 drive through gate to be located on the east perimeter, 1 residential gate to be located on the south perimeter. The residential gate on the south perimeter is to be positioned over the existing sidewalk. Approximate locations of all gates are marked on the map provided. o Installation of 1 drive through single swing gate. NPHA will consider a drive through double swing gate if recommended over the single swing gate. o Gate material- commercial grade solid steel o Gate style- straight top picket with spear top, pickets must be a minimum of 3A" x 3/4" with approximately 4" spacing o Gate height- 5 feet o Gate width- 12 feet o Installation of 5 Double Combination Surface Mount Lever Gate Locks- one on each gate. o Mechanical, keyless, surface mount gate lock- battery operated o Keypad with lever handle on interior and exterior of gate o Must also include a keyed cylinder o Removal of railroad ties in southeast corner and any backfill necessary. o Schedule and pass all city inspections required for this project. o Backfill any areas necessary along fence apron. o Clean up work space upon completion and remove all trash, tools, equipment, and materials. NPHA's goal with this project is to have a strong steel fence that lasts. The fence should be straight and level to be aesthetically pleasing, with all gates blending in with the fence as much as possible. Time frame for this project is March 1, 2023-November 30, 2023.
