Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Katy, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The Project Site. The project is located in the Harris-Waller Counties Municipal Utility District No. 4 and the City of Houston, ETJ, at 5725 1/2 Aurora Bend Drive, Katy, Texas 77493, approximately 1,761 southwest of the intersection of Beckendorff and Pitts Road, and in Harris County, Texas. (Harris County Key Map No. 404-W) Scope of Work of the Contract includes the following: Construction of Sunterra Lift Station No. 4 Construction of Sunterra Lift Station No. 4 including, but not limited to, construction of a ten-foot (10') diameter cast-in-place concrete wet well including 100% solids epoxy coating, complete with two (2) submersible pumps with all accessories, riser piping, valves, coatings, fence and gates, concrete pavement, site work, manholes, 24-inch (24") on-site storm piping and storm inlet, 8-inch (8"), 18-inch (18"), and 24-inch (24") on-site sanitary sewer piping including well pointing and dewatering as necessary, manual transfer switch, load bank testing, lift station control panel, automatic telephone dialer, electrical service disconnect switches, conduit, wire, and all else as shown on the construction drawings and detailed in the specifications for a fully functioning lift station. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided, and provide the required insurance certificates within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project
