Renovation of a water / sewer project in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
New MBR trains, process basins, operation buildings (permeate pumps, electrical, blower, laboratory, 2 offices), equipment, solids handling building, reuse tank, reuse water pump station, and additional facilities are needed to keep pace with growth and maintenance needs in the Mariposa, Mountain Hawk (Hawk Site), National Guard, and National Veterans Cemetary development areas. 70 acres infiltration galleries/arroyo (similar to Bear Canyon in ABCWUA) should be purchased at $1k to $5k an acre to serve future Mariposa development. Approximately 3 year construction window. Needs to be in place prior to development and rehabilitation at Mariposa MBR which will be over 20 years old at the time of construction. This project is in included in the City's or County's FY 2023-2029 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of October 18, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
