In the absence of any obvious material inaccuracy, the time as shown on the clock in the Board Office shall be used in determining when the time for receipt of bids has expired. The Board of Education of Calvert County, Prince Frederick, MD, is soliciting proposals from pre-qualified Contractors to provide bids for the Playground Installation at Beach Elementary School, 7900 Old Bayside Road, Chesapeake Beach, Maryland 20732. Please note that all bidders must be prequalified. The Contractor's Qualification Questionnaire can be found online at website and following the tabs: "Departments, Construction, Construction Program Information, Construction Forms". The ITB package is free, and vendors are encouraged to download the package online from eMaryland Marketplace. The package can also be provided upon written request via electronic mail to Mr. Sheldon Taylor at taylors@calvertnet.k12.md.us. While no specific participation goal has been set for this Project, Certified Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) are encouraged to respond to this solicitation notice. In the event of inclement weather on the date when bids are scheduled to be opened and the CCPS administrative offices are closed, bids will be opened on the next business day at the same time as previously scheduled. Bids will be accepted until the scheduled time of opening on the next business day. Please note: Often when schools are closed due to inclement weather, administrative offices remain open.
