As of October 3, 2023, a design team has been identified. The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Finance & Administration Cabinet, Division of Engineering & Contract Administration (DECA) is seeking professional design services for the Department of Corrections (DOC) to develop specifications and bid documents as well as contract administration consulting services for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for (5) Eastern Kentucky prisons including Blackburn Correctional Complex, Bell County Forestry Camp, Northpoint Training Center, Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex and Little Sandy Correctional Complex. Work includes but is not limited to HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems, fire suppression systems, fire alarm systems, building automation systems, standby generators, transformers, poles, electrical grid, mechanical room upgrades, sanitary sewer system, water supply system included elevated water tanks, water heaters, boilers and other items as determined through design process related to Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing. The consultant team shall include, at a minimum, the following professional design Disciplines/Expertise. Disciplines/Expertise may reside in one or multiple persons/firms.
