Site work for a civil project in Midland, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of December 9, 2022 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on December 13, 2022. Crossroads Sewer Extension project. The project is generally described as the installation of 3,480 LF of 8- inch gravity sewer, 13 manholes, and 22 - 4-inch service connections. Bidders will be required to show evidence that they are licensed to perform the work in the Bidding Documents as required by North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87 and the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate. Small, minority and woman's businesses and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit bids. This Project is being funded all or in part by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and Contractors will be required to follow ARPA guidelines as further described in the Project Manual. This sewer project is dependent on State funding and reimbursement. The Town of Midland reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals. EPA MBE/WBE participation goals: MBE 10.9% WBE 10.4%
