Furnishing all tools, materials and labor and performing the work necessary to reconstruct approximately 1,053 square yards of 6-inch concrete pavement on Walnut Avenue from Third Street to Fourth Street. Work includes all excavation, base preparation, drives, curb and gutter, sidewalks and wheelchair ramps as specified in the plans for the complete roadway reconstruction. The successful bidder shall submit Certification of Insurance for Public Liability and Workers Compensation in the amounts prescribed by Statute with the City of Ponca City named as additional insured Bids filed as provided herein shall be publicly opened on the above-mentioned time, date and place. All bids shall remain on file at least forty-eight (48) hours thereafter before a contract shall be made and entered into thereon. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, before the time set for the opening of bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening of bids, shall not be considered and will be returned unopened.
