As of October 31, 2023, this project has been awarded and an engineer firm has been selected. Further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. A detailed scope has not yet been released. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Florida State University (FSU) is seeking Professional Engineering Services for underground Chilled Water Utilities on the FSU Main Campus. The project consists of new chilled water supply and return piping to the future Football Operations Facility (FS-262) from FSU Satellite Chiller Plant 1 and including a connection to the Doak Campbell Stadium Chiller Plant for redundancy purposes, and valves for future connection to other buildings. Potential additional scope may include an electrical concrete-encased ductbank that would be routed along with the chilled water piping as much as practical. Question & Answer Submission - 10/25/2022 5:00 PM EDT The project budget is estimated between $4 and $5M at this time, but has not been finalized. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
