Site work for a water / sewer project in San Lorenzo, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Bids must be made on the bid forms included in the bid package. The project contractor shall furnish all tools, equipment, apparatus, facilities, labor and material necessary for the construction of the SHORELINE ADAPTATION DEMONSTRATION RECONFIGURATION PROJECT. The project work is generally described as: The existing site consists of two existing earthen sloped cells with total approximate dimensions of 150' by 80'. The two cells will be cleared, excavated, and replaced with eight new, smaller cells with a new grade and individual feed/drain piping. Cleared vege- tation shall be stored on site and then returned to the final slope. The two existing ecotone cells will be overexcavated and the ex- cavated materials will be segregated into Ecotone Top Soil, Ecotone Soil, and Gravels & Sands. The fill material will consist of ten (10) treatment zone blends with varying amounts of Permea ble Material, Wood Chips, Activated Carbon, and Fluoro-Sorb com- ponents. The scope includes re-construction of new reconfigured Ecotone Sub-cells with varying treatment zone blends, slope, and Ecotone Soil & Ecotone Top Soil. Install various yard piping to deliver and collect treated wastewater to/from the new Ecotone Sub-cells. In- stall owner furnished flow monitoring and control valves (8), including attachment of antenna to contractor furnished wood post. Cash will not be accepted. Bid packages will be mailed upon request and receipt of the non-refundable charge and the bidder's UPS or FedEx account number. Bid packages can be downloaded for free online. The Engineer's estimate is $610,000. A Class A California contractor's license is required to bid on the project. A successful Bidder must comply with all prevailing wage laws applicable to the Project, and related requirements contained in the Contract Documents. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or to waive any bid irregularities to the extent permitted by law. Where appropriate, the District may respond to such questions by addenda transmitted to all bid package recipients. All bids will remain valid for 90 days after the bid opening. Except as permitted by law and subject to all applicable remedies, including forfeiture of bidder's security, bidders may not withdraw their bid during the 90 day period after the bid opening.
